For the last day trip of the year we are planning to head down to Bradgate Park, a really nice area to walk in right on our doorstep!

The walk will take in our usual favourite of Beacon Hill but also push further south towards Leicester passing Old John's Tower before heading back to Loughborough.

As exam season rapidly approaches, we'll all be in need of some time off from revision.

The Loughborough walk is an annual tradition and a brilliant way to round off a great year of hiking, socialising and making new friends.

We'll be going for a walk somewhere around Loughborough before finishing up at Beacon Hill, where we'll enjoy a BBQ, some games, and hopefully some sun (with the option of a water fight for those among you looking to cool down!)

This trip is a nice chance to chill out before the pressure of exams sets in- hope to see you all there!

A new one for the club!
Since most of our walking takes place over the winter, when days are short and it rains a lot, we have decided to break with tradition and get some walking in when it's sunny and warm!

In an even bigger break with tradition, we are hoping to camp out for the week, so a great chance for those of you who love being under canvas, or who would like to give this a try!

We'll be heading off to the Lake District, a favourite for the club, so we might even get a chance to go for a swim at the end of the day if the weather isn't too bad!
