These trips leave early morning for a day out to somewhere within a couple of hours driving distance of Lufbra.
The 'Dark Peak' area of Derbyshire is a hiking club favourite.
Weekend trips
Weekend trips allow us to go much further afield - in the past we've been to Lake District, Yorkshire and Glencoe.

We will be heading to the Jesse James Bunkhouse in Snowdonia for the second weekend trip of the term. The area provides quality mountains to climb including Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales.

The Dovedale area of the Peak District. Due to the soft limestone of the area there are some spectacular crags and rock formations to be seen. The stepping stones acrross the river also shouldn't be missed.

Easter Glencoe Trip: Sun, 18th Apr 2010 - Fri, 23rd Apr 2010

This years Easter trip will be to the Glen Coe area of Scotland, providing easy access to Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in the UK) as well as other well known walks such as the Ring of Steall. While we will be running walks of all abilities this trip in particular gives people an opportunity to experience some harder and more technical walks than on other trips.
We will be traveling up to Scotland on Sunday the 18th of April and returning on Friday the 23rd of April, giving 4 days of walking (Monday to Thursday).
We will be staying at the Glen Coe Independant Hostel which is situated at the heart of the Glen Coe valley. The trip will be £120, this covers accomodation, food and transport costs for the week.
